Captions / Timed Text
Timed Text captions are required for all content, including non-verbal content.
Note:
- Burned-in captions will not be accepted. Captions must be in a separate file.
- No Caption segments
- No Caption Segments > 24 characters per second.
Preferred Format:
- SRT (SubRip Text) files with a .srt file extension.

Closed Captions
- SRT (SubRip Text) files with a .srt file extension.
- SMPTE-TT (RP-2052) with a .xml extension
- DFXP Full / TTML (Timed Text Markup Language) with a .dfxp file extension.
- iTT (iTunes Timed Text) files with a .iTT file extension.
- SCC (Scenarist Closed Caption) with a .scc file extension.
- EBU-TT with a .xml file extension.
Subtitles
- DFXP Full / TTML (Timed Text Markup Language) with a .dfxp file extension.
- iTT (iTunes Timed Text) files with a .iTT file extension.
- SRT (SubRip Text) files with a .srt file extension.
- STL / EBU-STL (European Broadcast Union Subtitle) files with a .stl file extension.
